Climate anxiety:
prevalence, causes, consequences, and implications for public policy.
My thesis studies climate anxiety as both a psychological response to environmental degradation and a factor that can shape public attitudes, policy support, fertility intentions, and mental health.
The project asks how climate anxiety can be integrated into public policy design: when it supports pro-environmental action, when it becomes harmful for well-being, and how mitigation and adaptation policies can better account for narratives, lived experiences, and behavioral mechanisms.
This thesis is supervised by Bérangère Legendre and co-supervised by Thibaut Arpinon.
